You can also let it write back at the bench: start a plant or explant, open a task, record a transfer, log a contamination event, add a note or a photo, draft a media recipe, run an SOP, or register a device and its readings. Reading and writing are separate permissions, granted one capability at a time — allowing xPlant to see your plants never lets it change them, and you can allow reading alone. Everything is scoped to the one lab you connect. Changes are attributed to your connected app in that lab's activity log, and it never predicts or guarantees plant, contamination, media, or sales outcomes.
