The plugin connects ChatGPT to the signed-in user's private PointOne workspace, where it can find clients and matters, review billing guidelines and classification codes, summarize time, check existing compliance findings, and view active timers. At the user's direction, tool results return authorized workspace data to ChatGPT, which may include professional identity and firm-directory data, client and matter details, time-entry narratives, dates, durations, rates and amounts, billing rules, classification codes, compliance findings and reasoning, timer activity, and ethical-wall-filtered summaries. Users can also create, update, and archive their own time entries, start and stop timers, and submit eligible entries for billing after confirmation. Authorized administrators can request firm-wide summaries. All actions remain subject to the user's OAuth scopes, permissions, firm settings, ownership restrictions, and ethical walls.
