The Renovation Room is a Chicagoland home-renovation marketplace: homeowners describe a project for free, and member contractors — each screened at joining and holding a published, reviewed directory listing — can respond with quotes.

This plugin gives ChatGPT read-only access to the public side of that marketplace:

• Search the directory of member contractors by trade, service, or company name — roofing, plumbing, kitchen and bath remodeling, masonry and tuckpointing, fencing, garage doors, and more — and see each business's trades, service areas, and profile link.
• Look up one contractor's public listing summary.
• Answer Chicago-area renovation questions from The Renovation Room's fact-checked FAQ — building permits and inspections, how to vet a contractor, what remodels cost, and project planning — with every answer citing its primary source.
• Explain how getting quotes works, or build a personalized link to the free project-submission form with the homeowner's details already filled in. The homeowner reviews and submits the form themselves on our website; nothing is submitted from inside the conversation, and no booking or payment ever happens through the plugin.

Coverage: Chicago, its suburbs, Northwest Indiana, and Southern Wisconsin. The plugin never creates, changes, or deletes anything, and it never accesses homeowner accounts, leads, messages, or contractors' contact details — only published listings and published FAQ content.
