Search Panama law and cases
Lexistmo connects ChatGPT to a database of Panamanian law: legislation with its current status, rulings of the Supreme Court of Justice and the Superior Courts, and public procurement case law from the Administrative Court of Public Procurement (TACP) and the General Directorate of Public Procurement (DGCP).
With Lexistmo, ChatGPT can run full-text searches across all sources or a single one; read a complete document with its record (chamber, reporting justice and decision for rulings; number, date and Official Gazette for laws); resolve a citation such as "Ley 22 de 2006, artículo 41" to the text in force today, including the consolidated text; and tell whether a law is in force, amended, repealed or replaced, and by which law.
The database is harvested from official public sources (Legispan of the National Assembly, the Judicial Branch, TACP and DGCP) and updated several times a week. Every result links to its original document. All tools are read-only and Lexistmo does not store the text of queries.
Requires a Lexistmo account on the Pro or Scale plan. Content is in Spanish. Lexistmo is a research tool and does not provide legal advice; the official source is the Official Gazette of the Republic of Panama.
