Fiveable for AP Teachers connects your Fiveable teacher workspace to ChatGPT for AP grading, class materials, assignments, and insights.
Grade a stack of AP free responses. Paste student work in chat or import PDF and Word files on Fiveable, including AP Classroom "By Student Page Break" exports. Direct file uploads depend on the ChatGPT surface you use. Fiveable scores supported AP question types using their AP rubrics and point totals. Review the rubric, adjust individual part scores with a reason, and approve responses one at a time or together. AI scores stay labeled as drafts until you approve them.
Make tomorrow's class materials. Find questions from Fiveable's AP question bank with their stimuli, answer keys, and explanations. Ask ChatGPT to arrange them into a warm-up, exit ticket, worksheet, or review game, with a separate answer key and Fiveable attribution.
Build and run assignments. Set up classes, add a roster, and build drafts from Fiveable multiple-choice questions, free responses, study guides, and guided notes. Drafts stay invisible to students. Publishing, changing publication dates, and releasing results each show a preview and wait for your confirmation. Editing scores or feedback after results are released can change what students see.
See where each class needs support. Review class and student results, answer-choice breakdowns, and topics or skills that need more practice. Ask ChatGPT to use those results to draft a reteaching plan, parent note, or conference outline. When a class has no scored work, Fiveable reports that limitation.
With Google connected on Fiveable, list Classroom turn-ins, export grading results to a Google Sheet, and preview sending approved numeric AP scores to Classroom. Classroom documents can be imported on the Fiveable website. Sending scores does not send written feedback or return the work; you return it in Classroom yourself.
Student identifiers in tool results are minimized to short display names and opaque handles. Structured results omit student emails and account IDs. Full response text is returned only when explicitly requested. Work you paste or upload may contain identifying information, so remove unnecessary personal details before sharing it.
