Redact before you prompt
Share the context. Keep the personal details.
Privacy Redactor is a productivity tool for consultants, agencies, and anyone preparing work prompts in ChatGPT. Turn a client email, meeting note, or draft into a reviewed prompt without copying personal contact details into the conversation.
Paste. Review. Redact.
Open the private panel, paste your text, and review the highlighted names, email addresses, phone numbers, and organizations. Choose what to redact or keep. Then read “What ChatGPT will see” before you send the reviewed message.
Your text is processed on your device.
Detection runs locally after a one-time model download. Your original text is not uploaded for redaction. Only clicking Send to chat shares the reviewed result, including anything you choose to keep. No account or API key is needed.
Built for everyday work: preparing a client email for a rewrite, removing contact details from meeting notes, or getting feedback on a draft. Built by Procurato.
Before you start: setup downloads about 1.1 GB and requires a compatible host with WebGPU and sufficient memory. The models focus on English. The plugin works in its own panel and does not intercept ChatGPT’s main prompt box. Detection can miss details, so review the entire result before sharing it.
