Capable Cap Table connects ChatGPT to your startup's cap table in Capable, the AI-native cap table and equity management platform. Ask about ownership, equity and fundraising in plain language, and draft changes for an admin to approve.
Founders, finance, legal and HR admins can:
- See who owns what on a fully diluted basis, by stakeholder and by share class, including the option pool.
- Look up any stakeholder's stock options (ISO and NSO), RSUs, restricted stock (RSAs), warrants, SAFEs and convertible notes.
- Check vesting schedules, cliffs and the next vesting dates.
- Check the current 409A valuation, its fair market value per share and when it expires.
- Model a priced round (Seed, Series A and later), including SAFE and note conversion and an option pool top-up, and see the dilution for each holder.
- Model an exit and see what each holder takes home after liquidation preferences.
- Get links to export the cap table to Excel, CSV or OCF, and review recent activity and pending proposals.
Employees, advisors and investors can ask about their own equity: how much has vested, the next vesting dates, exercise prices and deadlines.
Example questions:
- Who owns what in our cap table, fully diluted?
- List our outstanding SAFEs with their valuation caps.
- How much will the founders be diluted if we raise $10M at a $40M pre-money valuation?
- When does our 409A expire?
- If we sell the company for $150M, what does each holder take home?
ChatGPT can draft a change, such as a new stakeholder, an option grant, a termination, a cancellation or a 409A record, as a proposal. Nothing changes until an admin approves the proposal inside Capable.
Capable shows each person only what they are allowed to see. Round and exit models are planning estimates, not tax, legal or investment advice. The plugin does not move money or place trades.
