Check your brain rot level
Nobrainrot shows you how much of your life your phone is taking, then helps you take it back.
The Brain Rot Index is a 2-minute self-check: two sliders (daily phone hours and age) and 10 questions adapted from the Smartphone Addiction Scale – Short Version (Kwon et al., 2013). You get a score out of 100, one of eight habit types (like Night Scroller or Phantom Checker), and an estimate of the years you would spend on a screen before 80 at your current rate. You can share your result with a link.
Then do something about it:
• Focus Room: name the task, pick 25, 45 or 90 minutes, put the phone away. A live timer runs in the chat and you get a short receipt at the end.
• 7-day detox plan: one offline action a day, built around your habit type or what you want to fix (nights, work, social media).
• Screen time receipt: share your daily screen time and see what it adds up to per week, per year and per decade.
• Shift: a physical NFC puck you tap with your iPhone to lock distracting apps. Works with the Shift app for iOS.
No account, no email. We store your score, type, hours and age so your share link works, never your name. A self-check, not a medical diagnosis.
