Zero Slop is a writing productivity tool for people preparing emails, workplace updates, social posts and research prose. It flags stock phrases and repetition and checks proposed edits against the original names, numbers, quotations and links.
The packaged skill runs inside your existing assistant. Local Python tools score prose and check source details; the assistant performs the editorial work. Private editing preferences are learned only from corrections you approve. Local scripts do not transmit drafts. An optional version check sends only a version query.
The optional deslop MCP tool sends the draft, genre and audience you provide to the hosted Zero Slop service. It returns text, before-and-after writing scores, source-check results and an edit or review status. Already-clear text can remain unchanged. Capacity limits or unavailable editing services can prevent a rewrite.
The hosted service uses hosting infrastructure and model providers described in the privacy policy. Fallback model requests require zero-data-retention routing and deny provider data collection; infrastructure and provider operational records have separate retention policies. Scores are writing heuristics, not authorship probabilities. Source checks do not guarantee factual accuracy. Review edits before publishing. Do not use Zero Slop to evade authorship or disclosure requirements.
