Ask about your food journal
Eating Buddy is a mindful eating journal for iPhone and Android. Connect it to ask ChatGPT about what you logged: meals and the foods in them, hunger before and fullness after eating, mindfulness, places and reasons, drinks and water, sleep, moods, cravings check-ins and workouts.
Ask for a plain list ("What did I eat yesterday?") or for patterns ("Do I snack more after short nights?", "Which foods do I eat most often?", "How did my mood compare on the days I worked out?"). ChatGPT reads only your own entries, as your account; it cannot change or delete anything.
Connecting takes a minute: ChatGPT shows a six-digit code, you type it in the Eating Buddy app under Settings, AI assistants, and approve. You can unlink it any time from the same screen. Eating Buddy describes what your journal shows; it does not give diet plans or medical advice.
When connected to Eating Buddy, ChatGPT may share relevant chats and memories with this app to help provide context for your requests. Eating Buddy’s use of this data is subject to their terms and privacy policy. If you have Memory enabled, data from the app may be used to proactively provide helpful information or suggestions. ChatGPT always respects your training data preferences, including for data from connected apps. Use of apps may come with elevated risk.
