Extreme Wind

Extreme Wind helps kitesurfers, windsurfers, wingfoilers and surfers in Israel decide where and when to go: which beach has wind right now, and which day and spot will be best this week.

It answers from measured data and forecasts, not a web search, for spots along Israel's Mediterranean coast, the Sea of Galilee and Eilat:

• Wind right now at a spot: average, gusts, lulls and direction from the spot's own meter, with when it was measured.
• How the wind behaved over the last hours, in 10-minute steps.
• Which day and hours look best: hour-by-hour wind forecasts up to 5 days from two models, plus a short written summary per spot.
• Wave height, period and direction forecasts, and the latest buoy and beach readings.
• Your saved home wind and wave spots.

Answers name the spot and link to it in the Extreme Wind app.
