","side","line","finding_id","**_{_{![P1 Badge](https://img.shields.io/badge/P1-orange?style=flat)}} Ensure SQLite jsonb shim actually loads**\n\nThe initializer written by `ensure_sqlite_json_patch!` guards the patch with `next unless defined?(ActiveRecord::ConnectionAdapters::SQLite3)` inside an `ActiveSupport.on_load(:active_record)` block, but when this callback runs the SQLite adapter constant has not been autoloaded yet. The check evaluates to false, the block exits, and the patch is never applied. As a result, host apps or the harness running the engine with a SQLite database will still hit `undefined method 'jsonb'` when migrations run. Require the adapter or check the connection after Active Record loads so the alias is always applied when SQLite is in use.\n\nUseful?
